Brother to Jørgen and friend to Olav, Gunnar was known throughout the village for his immense strength and quiet demeanor. It was village knowledge that you don't mess with Gunnar, but all were happy that he was around to defend the village against enemies.
Gunnar was beefy enough to survive an arrow to the shoulder with no problem, but he was not beefy enough to survive being torn in half by slag. He and his brother Jørgen both perished during their mission through the Frightened Forest, leaving Chief Thorson as the sole survivor of his village.
